USAID- Impact Evaluation of the Early Grade Reading Activity (EGRA) and National Reading Program (NRP) assessment

TLTĀ  team worked with IKI and Social Impact on the reading assessment series of studies for junior primary schools. This was a longitudinal study involving collaboration between Ministry of Education, USAID, Social Impact and the research teams from TLT and IKI. The tasks involved translation of the household survey instruments into local languages and back-translations to ensure fidelity. The research managers and data teams oriented and trained the teachers and field supervisors on the study protocol. Questionnaires were programed and loaded into Android Samsung Tablets for data collection. TLT fielded the household survey data collection and provided oversight and quality assurance for all EGRA and NRP data collection activities between 2013-2017
